AhlulBayt News Agency: The former advisor of Egypt’s Minister of Awqaf (Endowments) has highlighted the message of Hajj as the annual Islamic pilgrimage reveals unity of Muslims and grandeur of Islam.Salama Abd al-Qawi, hailed Hajj as a ritual that convenes Muslims from different countries, nationalities and languages together.

He said,” Muslims during Hajj chant the same motto, worship the same god, circumambulate the same structure (Kaba) and perform the same ritual in unified form of attire, all of which reveal their solidarity, despite what the enemies wish for the Muslim world.”

He warned that the enemies seek dispersion of the Islamic ummah (nation) as they pursue any possible way to divide Arabs, Turks, Persians, Malaysians, Indonesians and Muslims from different ethnicities and nationalities.

The al-Azhar scholar said,” Hajj bears the greatest message which is monotheism that demands a unified nation worship the same god and perform the same rituals.”

The Egyptian scholar also stressed the political message of Hajj and said,” This is a principle of Hajj that Muslims pursue the issues across the world of Islam throughout the great congregation.”

He said,” This is a big shame that the second Hajj pilgrimage is held while Muslims in Palestine, Yemen, Sudan, Myanmar, Kashir and Pakistan are suffering oppression and crimes while some other Muslims from these countries and other parts of the Muslim world gather with Hajj rituals as their only concern.”

The prominent scholar said,” Millions of Muslims who gather in Hajj must act in a way that alarms the enemies” and added,” Someday Muslims depart in a massive rally towards the occupied al-Quds and liberate the holy mosque.”

He blamed the hostile plots by enemies, mismanagement of some exploited rulers and also some materialist Muslims for the present crisis in the world of Islam and said that the million-man march of Hajj pilgrims could easily liberate the occupied al-Quds without any need for military action and deployment of tanks, warplanes and missiles.
